Our History
Aspen Integrative Medical Center is a family practice at heart as it is owned and operated by husband and wife duo Drs. Paul Despres and Alexandra Mele who purchased the clinic in 2024.
Drs. Despres and Mele first met in medical school at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA where they quickly realized a shared dream to create a one-of-a-kind clinic that would change peoples’ lives. They relocated from the Pacific Northwest to the Arizona desert, so Dr. Mele could complete a two-year teaching residency at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe. After her residency they moved to Flagstaff to make their dream clinic a reality and lay down roots. It is their honor to serve the Flagstaff community and their mission to increase everyone’s access the healing benefits of naturopathic medicine.
“Every time I am at Aspen I feel like I’m at home. The support staff and physicians have always taken such great care of myself and my family.”
