What can I expect during an IV therapy treatment?
Aspen Integrative Medical Center customizes your IV therapy ingredients to match your specific needs. We review the details of your treatment at your consultation, so you know what to expect.
You may receive your IV therapy through an IV line in the arm or by muscular injection. For IV therapy into a vein, your doctor or nurse will sit in one of our treatment chairs and insert a small needle into a vein in your arm to and then starts the infusion.
IV therapy typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes, but higher doses of nutrients can take up to 2 hours. An injection takes only a few minutes.
What happens after an IV therapy treatment?
Unless otherwise directed, you can resume your usual routine following your IV therapy.
Results from IV therapy vary, depending on the type of nutrients you received and your health issues. However, you may feel a boost in energy, improved mental clarity, and be more relaxed after IV therapy.
